Need facility for November Populace (11/6)

NEW SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY:

Group Names need to have the following, Kingdom Name, example, Kingdom of
"Insert Name Here". Group Names can also include, SCA, Official, and
Discussion Group. Any groups that are not official will not have any SCA or
Kingdom names or images (heraldry & badges) on their group name or
description.

Official groups must contain the following disclaimer: (which can be
located in the new SCA Social Media Policy):

of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is considered the
official presence of this group here. Questions regarding its content

Additionally, any guild or community groups which use any SCA affiliated
names, but do not follow the current policy, need to be contacted and they
should either become an official SCA Facebook group, or remove the any
affiliated names and become an unofficial community group.

Event Calendar

   -

   October 13 - Coronation hosted by Steppes in Dallas, Texas.  King’s
   Champion chosen.
   -

   October 19-21 - Bjornsborg hosts Valkyrfelt in Seguin, Texas.  Norse
   themed event with armored combat and Bardic & A&S championship competitions.
   -

   October 26-28 - Seawinds Defender & Bryn Gwlad Baronial in Seguin,
   Texas.  Norse themed event where both groups will pick various champions.
   Will host HL Bia’s Laurel elevation.
   -

   November 2-4 - Shadowlands hosts “A Passion for Peerless Pursuits” in
   Somerville, Texas with Royal Huntsman (archery) and Royal Lancer
   (equestrian).  Focus is on archery & equestrian activities. Classes & other
   activities to be held as well.
