Barony of Loch Soilleir Populace Notes (2019-12-3)
*Come to Order*
*Nobility’s Words* - Their Excellencies Krag & Hennessey (Welcoming, etc.)
*Officer Reports*
*- Exchequer* (Lady Kite) - We still have money
- *Herald* (OPEN FOR APPS) – One new name and device have been passed.
- *Chronicler* (Lady Anne) - Submissions are due by the 18th of this month.
Lady Anne may be moving out of the area. Looking for someone to take over
the newsletter. This is a required position.
- *Hospitaler* (Master Brian) - We have had several new folks at Rapier
practice. Held a demo at the Pasadena Library during Ichigo-Con. The
library has asked us to participate in their summer programs.
- *Webminister* (HL Elena) (OPEN FOR APPS) - Elena’s tour of duty concludes
next month. Looking for a replacement. The website is in good shape and
should be easy to maintain at this point.
- *MoAS* (Mistress Delphina) -
  - Armoring/Smithing Guild (Baron Master Krag) - No meetings during
November. Everyone is invited to the Houston Blacksmithing Guild that meets
at Armand Bayou.
  - Fiber Arts Guild (Baroness Hennessey) - No meetings during November.
  - Lampwork Guild (Duchess Ebergardis) - Met several times.
  - Lace Guild (Mistress Delphina) - Usually meets 1st Saturday of each
month from 1-4, Fairmont Library in Pasadena. Next meeting will be December
14. All A&S is welcome.
  - Thursday Guild – Not currently meeting
  - Stargate has scribal on the 1st & 3rd Sundays from 3-6p at Central
Market.
- *Marshals*
  - Armored - Don Crowley is acting marshal Tuesdays at Walter Hall Park in
League City. Around 8 folks have been attending. No practice 11/5, 11/12.
Lady Kite is said to have waiver from 12/19. Need waiver status for 11/26.
  - Rapier (OPEN FOR APPS) Tuesdays at Walter Hall Park in League City.
Come out & play!
  - Missile (OPEN FOR APPS) - Roland is working toward his marshallate, so
that he can apply for the position. He provided our loaner gear for use at
WotR.
- *Seneschal* (Lady Karen) Officers: Get reports in by the 6th of the month.

*Old Business*
- Loch Yule - Aiden is working on some games with Crowley. Pot Luck will be
served at 4:00. Hats bring meats, everyone else bring sides. The Dessert
Competition will be “Japanese Inspired”. Remember to bring your stocking
and stuffers!
- Winter Crown - The Steppes Investiture will now be at this event. The
Hammered Biscuit will be serving Lunch, so the hospitality portion of the
budget is being discussed for traveler’s fare on Friday night or breakfast
on Saturday. There will be a rapier Black Blade tournament. We need a Youth
Marshall-in Charge and 3 hours of youth activities.

- Request from Pasadena Library for summer program help.
- Bids are now open for several Kingdom events.

*Upcoming Baronial Events*
- Winter Crown
- Coastal Grand Baronial - May 1-3, hopefully at the Livingston site. Still
need an autocrat.
