Many of the Loch traveled to Raven's Fort this past weekend for Defender of
the Fort. What a great time! Her Excellency and I would like to give some
shoutouts for folks who did well or contributed to the Loch hospitality.

Congratulations to the newest White Scarf of Ansteorra - Don Ulsted the
Unsteady! Our very own Defender! We were even surprised by Master
Crowley, who flew in to celebrate with Ulsted. This was so wonderful to see!

Congratulations to the newest members of the Order of the Mark: Master
Nikolai, Master Leofwine, and Master Padraic. While none call the Loch
home, the Loch calls all three of them friends and former Archery Champions!

Congrats to HL MIchele for receiving a Sable Thistle in Blockprinting. If
you have not seen her work, it is incredible.

Congrats to HL Fastrada & HL Lothar for receiving the Feather of Honor for
their service to Raven's Fort.

Congrats to Lady Lavinia for receiving the Feather of Honor and Baroness's
token for her efforts of service for Raven's Fort (but she's Loch now!!!).

Well done to Don Feodor for winning the Rapier Championship. He moved to
Bryn Gwlad, but he's still Snake Pit in his heart.

Great job to Master Crowley for winning the rapier prize tourney! He moved
to Atlantia, but we were his last Ansteorran home, so it still counts!

Congrats to HL Magnus for winning the equestrian prize tourney!

Congrats to HL MIkki for winning the Equestrian Championship!

Well done to Duchess Ebergardis and Baroness Hennessy, along with Baroness
Anna from Shadowlands, for hosting an amazing vigil spread for the new
members of the Mark.

Thank you to William & Lessa, Lorence & Robin, and Katya for providing
shade and/or food & drinks to the populace. We were very pleased with the
Loch hospitality and did not even need to set up our own day shade.

Also, We'd like to remind everyone to be cautious, even in September and
the fall, of the heat. That goes for humans and our animal friends. We
wish all the best for Brenna's horse Tilly who got overheated. Thankfully,
our equestrians are a community and they worked together to get her the
help she needed. A full recovery is expected!

In Serpentine Service,
Brian & Elena
