I will give you a general idea of the directions:

North on Interstate 35 to Interstate 40 (Oklahoma City)
West on Interstate 40 to Highway 81 (El Reno)
North on Highway 81 to the first stop light
West on Highway 81 to Forman Street (that's approximately 2 miles)
West from the stop sign at Highway 81 & Forman
the school is immediately on the right  (North)
the school is an old orange brick building

Israeli Dance Workshop, by Teresa Kauer
 
On November 22-25 (Thanksgiving Weekend) the Israeli Folkdancers will host
an Israeli Folkdance Workshop. Our friend Ruthy Slann, who is a friend of
Marco Ben Shimon, another great teacher, will teach the workshop. David and
I met Ruthy at Fred Berk - Blue Star Israeli Folkdance workshop in
Hendersonville, North Carolina in 1996, where we also met Marco Ben Shimon,
who taught the workshop we held in OKC in 1997. When David and I married in
1997, for our honeymoon we went on a three week dance tour of Israel that
Ruthy organized. In 1999 quite a few of us went to the Tulsa Israeli
Folkdance workshop with taught by Dany Ben Shalom and Ruthy. So, some of us
OKC International and Israeli Folkdancers already know Ruthy. We look
forward to dancing and spending time with Ruthy during this workshop!!!

Ruthy Slann Is a native of Israel and an avid dancer. She started dancing in
Beer-Sheva, Israel at the age of 13, and has been dancing ever since. Ruthy
co-leads an International Folkdance group in Clemson, SC, and travels in the
southeast to teach Israeli Folkdance Workshops for children and adults.
Together with Dany Ben Shalom she directs the annual Labor Day Weekend Camp
at Camp Coleman in Cleveland, GA, which they founded 6 years ago. For the
past 5 years she has been coordinating the Carmiel Tours of Israel, an
annual unique Folk Dance experience combining a special tour of the country
with Israeli Folkdancing. Ruthy was on the Fred Berk - Blue Star Israeli
Folkdance week long workshop's staff in Hendersonville, NC from 1990-1998.
Ruthy is cheerful and friendly, and her enthusiasm for dancing can be
dangerously contagious.

FRIDAY (teaching sessions) 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and  2:30 p.m. - 5:30
p.m.,

                     Potluck Dinner 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. followed by a
Dance 8:00 p.m. - ??

SATURDAY / SHABBAT (NO teaching) everyone can rest or attend their
congregations

SATURDAY EVENING (teaching session) 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Dance 9:00 p.m. -

SUNDAY (teaching session) 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (overview / video taping)
