Well honestly Grimmie. I make most of my money out of state at Ren Faires and Med Faires I do merchanting at SCA events and yes I seem to almost always barely cover expences to go there but I get to have alot of fun role playing my persona. Besides most roveing bards wont leave merchant row when bribed with mead Muhahahahahaha

Ok I am on the soapbox.
People think Merchants have it made ALL THE MONEY. There is
no way a Merchant can make a living on SCA events the sales
are not there. Back when I was a merchant my sales barely
covered getting to the site, site fee, feast, and getting home and
that was a good event. For that I got to set on my inventory when
I was not at a event, work all day at a event for 2 days, set up
and tear down every day and the loss from theft, storms and
travel. Also the missing all the fun during the day.
OH YEA that is why I got out of Merchanting.
But thanks to all the GOOD customer that have become my
friends over the years. It was worth it.
Maybe a $5.oo to $20.oo permit like a garage sale It would
be easer to control.
Ok I am off the soapbox now.
