I've done hurricanes[1], tornadoes[2], and earthquakes[3], thank
you _very_ much, and I'll stick with tornadoes.
[1] Grew up in Houston. SOme of my most vivid memories are of
playing guitar duets with my dad while Hurricane Carla
tore shingles off the roof. I lived there from 1954 to
1967. We had a *bunch* of hurricanes. Looking up through
the eye of one is an experience not to be missed.
[2] I've lived in Norman since 1970, and worked in OKC since 1977.
That's a few tornadoes. Enough that I stopped counting.
[3] I lived on the northwest corner of the metro Tokyo area from
Jan 1968 to Jan 1970. I've been awakened more than once as my
bed slid out from under me, and was there for the big Misawa
quake (6.8 or so).
