[Namron] Guests at this week's populous meeting

Etiennette,

Thanks.  I just felt bad that there were so many
GUESTS at populas that night and I had almost brought
a few myself. One thing we can ALL agree on is that
Namron is in possession of a passionate populas...LOL.

I stepped outside when things started heating up to
discuss the Upcoming Stratford Medieval Fair with it's
organizer, Mike Jones.  It's going to be held Sept.
10th. And I've agreed to go and face paint.  He's
really needing people to be there doing stuff to make
it look good. This event is put on as a fundraiser for
their school system.  Also, there's a small group in
the Stratford/Pauls Valley area that would probably be
interested in Joining the SCA but Norman is just far
away for them to drive.

My thoughts are we do our best to set up a demo or two
for him at the event and really show people what the
SCA is all about.  Perhaps then, with enough interest,
they can create their own Shire or Canton subject to
the Barony of Namron.

Mike's number is 580-759-5386 and I know he's looking
for vendors, performers, displays, etc...so if we
could extend ourselves for this I think it would make
up a lot for what our guests had to witness the other
night.
