[Namron] Surgery

Why does everyone insist upon wanting to see a hairy Viking frolic?

Now, if we wanted to see him wenching and drinking and barding (oh my!!),
THAT is perfectly acceptable AND very period for a Viking.

OK, enough on that.

Ulf, best wishes to you in your surgery. Let me know when the guard of the
nurses is down, and I'll sneak in a bottle of mead or pyment (your choice).

Ulf I am sorry to hear that you are having to have surgery on your back. I
hope all goes well and you are up to par very rapidly. Now I am passing a
message on from my Lord, Charinthalis aka Chass the Arse... He said that he
challenges you to a "healing race". On December 9, he fell at work and
ruptured 3 disks into his spinal cavity, one of which damaged his spinal
cord. He currently has limited or no feeling in his legs, what little he
has comes and goes. He has surpassed the dr's expectations several times
already, as they said he'd never walk again due to the spinal cord damage,
and he is currently walking very short periods using a walker and leg brace.
Most of his movement is done in a wheelchair. His physical therapist
expects him to eventually walk with the assistance of arm crutches, but
hesitates to say that he will ever walk again unassisted, although he says
anything is possible and my lord is VERY stubborn lol. The main concern
with him is the lack of feeling in his legs, which means that when he takes
a step, he has the tendency to step hard, such as you would if you expected
there to be another step going down some stairs and there isn't one. He
also expresses his sympathies for your pain and need for surgery and hopes
to see you up and frolicking soon :)

Yours,

Lady Elizabeta of Rundel
