To one and all,

I think one of the hardest jobs at Med faire is to
walk the ropes and talk to the people there. However,
it is an important job. The more people who take a
little time to do this will give those, like myself, a
chance to take a break. All you have to do is talk to
people about this organziation that you love. The
entire crowd doesn't have to be included. Find a
small group of interestd people and talk to them about
the SCA, what's going on on the field, arts &
sciences, bringing history to life, etc.

We also need people to make sure everyone is getting
enough water and not getting dehydrated or too much
sun.

Wear your best *PERIOD* garb (it doesn't have to be
late fru-fru period stuff). We want to make an
impression and show off. We want the mundanes to see
us at our best.

We have brothers and sisters out there who need to
find us. Not everyone needs to be a part of this
Dream, but there are people out there who need us. At
Med Fair we are trying to find our lost family
members. You never know, it could be anyone that
stops to watch the fighting or exclaim over a piece in
the A&S tent. It would be sad if we let them slip
through without letting them know who we really are.

Ok, enough of my over-zealous diatibe.

Hospitaler by nature,
Etienett

=====
No light shines on the mind protected
No light shines on the fangs neglected
Run with the wolfpack. (song lyrics)
