[Namron] Blood of Heroes Event in Calontir

Lady Adena, Lady Danielle, and myself took a roadtrip
to Grimfells, Calontir (Fayetteville, AR) for this
event this weekend, and had a blast.  And there is
news to share on it.

For those not familiar with the movie on which it is
based, Blood of Heroes with a sort of melee team sport
involving two teams, a fairly open playing field, and
the objective of spiking a foam rubber dog skull onto
a spike (traffic cone).  Only one players on each team
(the quik) can actually score, and there are rules
about good shots, bad shots, and resurrection time.

This year, the winning team came from our own kingdom,
calling themselves the Demmed Dirty Foriegners.  They
consisted of the following people:
Sieur Jean Paul de Sens
Master Oxlade Lachlan McKinnon
Lord William Lindsay
Lord Ivo Blackhawk
Lord Peter MacIntyre of Mooneschadowe
Lord Vladislav (can't spell his last name) of
Mooneschadowe
Lord Charles the Grey of Mooneschadowe
Optio Evan der Fultime of Northkeep
Bullvine of House Halfiras (I think he is anyways).

They fought with honor, skill, and much bruising of
themselves and others.

House Halfiras (out of Tahlequah) also turned out in
force to waterbear for both the Ansteorrans there and
to assist in waterbearing for Calontiri fighters,
which was fun.  

And there was dancing for those not watching the
fighting.

We were also welcomed with great hospitality to the
after revel and provided crash space by Lord Marcus
and Lady Christiaen in their home.

Overall, this is an awesome event, provided FREE by
Grimfells, and one more Ansteorrans should check out.
