Ok, with more than 1 program, there's room for all kinds of stuff.  I
thought you might just be doing a kick-off for the summer reading
program, and only having one.  The kids will love all the stuff that
makes noise, cannons and swords hitting shields especially.  The boys
(especially the younger ones) probably won't want to dance, though,
unfortunately.

I'll have 8 opportunities during the month of July for programs, and I
thought Vikings and Pirates might be of interest for one program,
Knights and chivalry for another, Dragons and mythological creatures,
Standards and Sheilds, Drama and Damsels, Combat and weaponry, Feasts
and festivals, Dancing and Games, Crafts etc.

If I do too much in one program I loose the younguns
interest.  And the Loud things are more for the
slightly older kids (the BOYS who are hardest to get
interested in library stuff).

Don't you worry...I'll be hitting up EVERYONE for
activities next summer...especially a particularly braided-beard Viking
to perform Lutfisk and Yams....
