[Namron] The Incident at Protectorate

To add to this, HOrses were used alongside cannons in war for many many
years. And I didn't even hear the cannon on the field.

A twisted gut is caused by the horses intestines being clocked and full
of gas and twisting as a horse rolls to alleviate the pain of a colic.
Gas floats and so the part of the intestine with the gas bubble acts as a
balloon keeping that part of the intestine up, while the rest of the
horse turns around it. Causing a twist. (Which is why you don't want
horses who are colicking to lay down.)

The horse in question was doing better when I left camp on Sunday
morning. With better chance for recovery, than was expected on Saturday.
We do not think that she had a twisted gut, last I spoke with the Camp
Care taker.
