Ooooh. That brings back some memories.  I can sympathize with that. 
Hopefully, he won't remember that process. (I didn't when I was taken 
off a respirator after my facial reconstruction. Brad said it looked 
like it hurt. Luckily they have drugs to help that.) He'll probably not 
remember a lot. The horrid thing about being on a respirator is that one 
does not have the sensation of breathing. When I woke up (after a 18 
hour surgery) I didn't feel myself breathing. I wondered if I was dead. 
Then I saw Brad and he didn't seem too upset so I figured I was still 
here. Very strange experience.

I'm very thankful that is looks like our Wormy is coming back to us.
