Gulf Wars Prayer

In my dreams,

    in the dead of the night.

I dream of great battles,

    and arrows aflight.

Through the air,

    those missles shall soar.

They will fall amongst Trimarians,

    who will trouble us no more.

We battle together,

    in a deadly band.

Pitting enemy against enemy,

    and man against man.

We sit and watch,

    as they approach the wall.

We know not,

    how many shall fall.

I then see a knight,

    standing proud and tall.

And his words as he fights,

    carries us all.

We turn them back,

    wave after wave.

Then toast our victory,

    at the end of the day.

Battling an enemy,

    who is not one.

And drinking with them,

    when the day is done.
