Whew! One more demo down, and at least one more to go before this year is
out.

Shawnee was fun. I know we snagged at least one recruit ready to jump in
head first. Vivat Skaargard!

For some strange reason, St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Norman thinks it
would be fun for us to come do our thing as entertainment for their
fundraiser on Sunday Nov. 7. They're selling tickets to a "Medieval Feast"
and raffling spots at the head table. Their choir/musicians will provide
the entertainment for the feast, but they welcome additional
instrumentalists who want to contact them in advance to learn the pieces.

Our part would be before and after entertainment: fighting, dancing,
drumming, barding, A&S exhibit, those kinds of things. If you've ever
wanted to fight on holy ground, this is your chance. I would also like to
point out that I have never actually seen anyone burst into flames when
setting foot near a church and Human Spontaneous Combustion has never been
scientifically proven to exist.

Basically, there is bound to be at least one person there who is interested
in whatever YOU do, so make plans to come down and do it for an afternoon.
Some of those who belong with us will never find their way home unless we
make a road for them.

Start thinking about it. If this sounds interesting to you, contact
Gràinne. We'll be in a better position to get organized after Protectorate.

PS - NO BOOZE. The HBBMV can set up an A&S exhibit and do what they're 2nd
best at - flapping their jaws.

There are, indeed, two things, knowledge and opinion, of which the one makes
its possessor really to know, the other to be ignorant.
