I would love to help with this, but I am one of the ones intending to go to Wastelands Defender.

If it can be arranged either for the weekend before or for any evening that week except Monday or Friday, I will gladly be there.

I can help with fiber arts (drop spindle, trim weaving, embroidery, etc.), and some with ceramics and chainmail.  Possibly other things also where the person teaching/demonstrating just needs another hand.

Please keep us informed as to the date of this demo.  This type of small demo enables us to speak to people as individuals, which we can't always do at Medfair.

About six weeks ago, I was contacted by Stacy Sanford; she expressed her interest in our group, so I dragged her to Skarrgard's Persona workshop. Last weekend, at the Faire, she asked me about doing a version of MedFaire for her group. She's Care Center President, and wants to organize something for the weekend of April 30/May 1. This is Wastelands Defender, I believe, and so we're looking at the Saturday before. Following is a list of suggestions - can we do anything about this?

Henna Tattoos
Chainmail braclets or keychains
Blacksmithing
How to make a device
Fighting demo
Music (maybe a small bardic circle or musicians?)
Painting mugs
Photos in garb
Leather-work, etc

This is just a preliminary list, and I've actually gotten some volunteers already - but as many as can help OU out with this would be appreciated. Thanks very much; if you need more info, my number's 307 9279.
