[Namron] Assault with a dead weapon?

KAPITI, New Zealand -- A Kapiti, New Zealand, man might face assault charges 
after hurling a dead possum at his partying neighbor.


Acting police Sergeant Sam Gilpin said the man had seen a dead possum on the 
road while walking over to complain about the noise from a party opposite 
his house. He had picked up the dead animal and hurled it at his neighbor's 
front door.


When the homeowner opened the door, the man picked up the carcass again, 
threw it at the neighbor and walked home.


Police are investigating and charges are pending.
