My Lady, I could be wrong, but I believe both people who were upset are those who live at least an hour, probably more, away from Namron and were on the road to be at populace long before it was ever posted to the list or phone calls were started. I think it may have been that the evaluation of the roads and weather was done after they left. Perhaps a case of being upset that the evaluation and cancellation wasn't done in a timely manner, rather just shortly before populace was supposed to be meeting? There are several of our populace that must travel quite a distance to make it to populace, and an announcement and calling 30 minutes before populace would catch us already on the road if we were planning to make populace. At optimum travel conditions, it takes approximately 2 and a half hours for those of us from McAlester to drive to Namron, yet we are still Namron populace and we do try to make meetings when it is possible. Namron's populace is actually fairly spread out. :)

If you are grumpy about not being called, have you checked to make sure that your information is current on the Populace list? And would you volunteer to help with the calling when this happens. It might be that our very caring but busy Seneschal and Baron and Baroness just couldn't get to everyone in time. Perhaps we should organize some kind of calling tree?
