Hello everyone,

As everyone knows Med. faire is the 1st weekend in April this year. I have seen a few post about people wanting to help. I myself am a fighter so I have more than plenty to do, but for those who are not fighters (and even if you are), the best thing to do at Med. Faire would be to simply show up. You can either work on a project you have an intrest in, or if you are new come talk to everyone and get a feel for both the group and what sorts of things are out there. More importantly just have fun, thats part of what we are therefore is to show off and have a wonderful time. If anyone has suggestions on things we might want to try contact Lord Magnus(aka Ace). If you don't know Ace contact me, Lord Tadgh, Lady Annabelle, etc. We will find a way to contact him for you.

On a side note, I have heard some suggestions from some of the older members and agree. We should try to keep some of the more obvious mundane things hidden away somewhere. The best reason for this is that when people see us at Med Faire, they assume that we are simply some backstage type area for others that work there. If we try to keep the place looking slightly more period, we stand a good chance of recruiting a lot of people into the Barony; which is never a bad thing. Now I am not saying this to rag or critize anyone. I myself (being in college and having little spending money) often use some unperiod things(fabrics, utensils, etc.) simply because they are cheap. Most of my focus is aimed at the big things like ice chests, baby strollers, things of that nature. I personally hope everyone enjoys Med Faire.

Sincerly,
Ulric Velkner

P.S. forgive my gramer and speling, one to many hits to the head.
