As so many other things, it is a matter of opinion.  I have a surplus of 
candle holders, but I adore good candles  I also always appreciate home made 
wines, cordials, and the like.  Just goes to show you can't please 
everybody.  :)

I think she had some very nice suggestions.  All things I would enjoy 
getting in a gift basket.  I think that the key is to think of things you 
might enjoy receiving, and add those things to the gift basket for someone 
else.  The unwanted, or unusable, things can be passed on to friends and 
family who might enjoy them.  That's what I do with the candle holders I 
receive.  :)  I have no personal need of a Viking style trim.  However, I 
would be pleased to pass on such to my friends with Viking personas.
