Smith, AR has left Marion Soules with no room for her
loom, so
she must sell it. This is a jack loom, Harrisville Design, purchased
new about 1988. The loom is 50", with 8 shafts, 10 treadles, wire
heddles, accessory tray and bench. Included with the loom are 5
reeds, a warp frame, extra heddles, reed and heddles hooks. Looms
this size purchased new are about $3000; benches, about $165. She's
asking $1250 for the loom, bench, and other items that are included.
She also has 4 boat shuttles $10 each, 3 rag shuttles $50 each, 5
stick shuttles $2 each, 1 bobbin winder $10, 2 sets of templets, 1
metal, 1 wood $10 for both sets, 1 weaving paddle $2, 1 warp reel
$100, several weaving books and patterns $35 for all. If someone
would like to purchase the whole lot, it can be had for $1350. If
need be, the loom can be delivered to the purchaser within 200 miles
of Ft. Smith. The other items would be shipped. The buyer would pay
shipping costs. Anyone interested in any or all of these items can
call 479-468-3359 or email mym39 at sbcglobal.net for more information.
Some prices negotiable. (NOTE: Pictures were sent with the letter.
