What Thomas is trying to say is that he became a Journeyman Chirurgeon at Gulf Wars.  Congrats to Lord Thomas.  Of course as his wife I must brag for him.  He put is 32 hours of volunteer time at Chirurgeon's point at the war.  Also, another bit of Northern bragging...Baron Ainar was made a Master Chirurgeon at Gulf Wars...there are only 13 in the Kingdom.

  Greetings Isobel,

  There will be "full fledged Chirurgeons" at Med Faire.  Since it is not an SCA activity, you would be working off your certs not the Chirurgeonate ( this is only my understanding, I could be wrong).  The best advice I can give is to contact Baron Ainar to coordianate your availability, as he is the Northern Regional.  You can also go to an event look for the person wearing the Chirurgeon baldric and say "I am an apprentice and I want to work".  The next couple of months should be good.  There should be at least one Chirurgeon at Med faire, Wastelands Defender, Beltane, Eldern, Steppes Warlord and Castlean, as these are the events I plan to be at( and I have not looked much further).  Check with the various Autocrats for who the CIC might be.
