[Namron] Ticks and Brew

In Washington were I spent growing up years we had no problem with ticks but, to keep fleas off the farm (working) dogs we gave them brewer's yeast. I am not advocating drinking to keep bugs off but, they don't like the taste of yeast in blood.

I've been cooped up from my hip injury. My big
excursions lately have been to one doctor's office or
another. As long as Mike, or someone is willing to
push me around (okay, watch it now, I can alreay hear
the wisecracks) I'd love a day of pleasure at the zoo.
It would also be a good test of how long I can sit
in the wheelchair so I know whether I can return to
work or not.

Of course, I am committing my family w/o asking them
first, so I'll have to double check. But, it does
sound like fun.

Isobel de Kirkbryde, a widow. My son, Odhran Kilmaine and I were blessed to be taken in by Master Michael Fenwick of Fotheringhay.

Jim,
We live in the country so we face this all the time.
There wasn't a cold enough freeze this winter so the
ticks are going to be bad. We use a lot of Avon's
Skin So Soft to kind of repel them, and if we find
them a drop of it helps to suffocate the pest enough
for easier removal.

God be with you in every pass. Jesus be with you on every hill. Spirit be with you in every stream, headland, ridge and law, each sea and land, each moor and meadow, lying down and rising up, in the trough of the waves or on the crest of the billow. Each step of the journey you go, go with God.

MessageI'm sorry we won't be able to attend. My father is coming to town this week-end after having been gone all winter to the Rio Grande Valley (poor man, 60 degree winters). I was hoping to kidnap the grandson but no such luck. Maybe next time.
