[Namron] Protectorate Invitation!!!!

The Barony of  Namron invites one and all to
Protectorate XXIX
October 7-9th 2005 at Camp Cimarron, Coyle, Oklahoma.

Join us as Namron Chooses our new Protector, Rapier, and Equestrian Champions!
An Arts & Science display will be held, as well as a cooking competition, hafla, childrens activities,  and an Interkingdom Brewers Guild competition.

To compete in the list you must present your consort in morning court.
The format for protector’s list will be 5 different weapon styles, no repeats.
Weapons are: Sword and Shield, Glaive, 2 weapon, and Great Sword.
The format for Rapier list will be a Swiss Five, with a twist at the end.

The theme for the cooking competition will be Steamed puddings
Steamed puddings both sweet and savory will be most welcome.
Documentation encouraged but not required. Be prepared to explain your
sources and techniques.

Sir Trelogin will be joining us (with several cohorts) from the Midrealm to
sponsor an Interkingdom Brewers Guild competition. Categories will include
Beers/Ales, Meads/Wines, and Cordials/Liqueurs. This competition will be the
first of its kind in Ansteorra! Please contact H.L. Tadhg for information on

Equestrian must supply a copy of current Coggins test.
You must also supply your own pens and feed for your horses.

Site opens at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, and closes at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Site fee: $10 for adults, teens 12-17 $9, children 6-11 $5, children 5 and under free,
$30 family maximum. A $3.00 non-member sur-charge will apply.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and notarized minor event waiver from the parents. Merchants are very welcome with an Oklahoma state tax id number. No pets allowed. Site is wet, drinks in period containers only.  NO underage drinking will be tolerated!
There will be a wonderful feast prepared by Hatur.  Feast fee: $7.00  The Caravan of the weeping wolf will be supplying a tavern.
