[Namron] The Pooky Protection and Prevention Act (or not)

If a child is found crying and lost with that info on the back, I would
ask if that child might be taken directly to the Herald at the event (or
any other loving loud mouth) and that the Herald take the child by the
hand and begin announcing LOUDLY that there is a parent missing and the
youngster is looking for them.

1.  This would help expediate the family reunion

2.  This might also be a loud enough and public enough "shaming" for any
parent who tends not to tend to their own children.

3.  And for the parents who DO tend to their children, see item #1.  A
good parent won't mind a little noise if they're children need them...lol

These are simply ideas that came to me while reading your post.  Some
might have better ideas, but there they are, for your consideration.

Oh, and another idea...this is requires mundane materials, but I would
rather introduce a bit of the mundane if it would promote the safety of
the children.  There are badges that can be made out of simple card stock
or paper inserted into a plastic holder that is pinned to a person's
garment...OR...is clipped to a lanyard and hung about the neck like a
necklace.  While not "PERIOD" they might be highly effective, and can
probably be obtained at an office depot or online through Quill.corp.  I
could try and find them online for you to look at if you would be
interested.
