Beltane, I will have time slots as soon as Namron has their officers
meeting.

1. Age Groups:
Minor youth 11 or below
Minor Intermediate 12-17
Open Age 18 and above

Each age group will have their own verison of the same games at
basically the same time(different weights, throwing distances,
etc). This way the parents/guardian of the children will be there
to sign each child under 18 in on their sign up list and can help
keep an eye on them. NO SEPERATE CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES.

2. Tribe will be our setup and take down crew, to hire them the Inn
has to feed them (and I will have a list of which ones will be on
the crew) for the weekend.

3. Namron's cooking guild is fixing the Crowns luncheon.

4. The Inn's own lovely Barbara will be doing a Tavern for the
event. (Barbara please let me know what all you need).

5. Titled Bard will be run by last years adult winner, judged by
the entrants age groups and overseen by the current or acting
officer.

6. Titled Brewer will be run by last years winner (NO ONE UNDER 21
will be allowed to enter).

7. Archery Champion will be run by last years adult winner, judged
by the entrants age groups and overseen by the current or acting
marshall.

8. Knife, Axe and Spear will be run by last years adult winner,
judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by the current or
acting marshall.

9. Arts and Science will be a scroll done from materials on hand at
site for the May Queen and Princess, judged by the entrants age
groups and overseen by the current or acting officer.

10. May Queen and Princess, judged by the entrants age groups and
overseen by the Inn's Vanessa.

11. Maypole dancing we will have a hidden boom box for music,
judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by the the Inn's
Linda.

12. Deflower a maiden judged by the entrants age groups and
overseen by the Inn's Vanessa. At gate every lady at the event is
given a flower and the gentlemen try to charm the ladies into giving
their flowers away (STEALING DOES NOT COUNT). The lord with the
most flowers in the end wins.

13. Kissing Stones judged by the entrants age groups and overseen
by the Inn's Vanessa. 1" white rocks will be paint with a heart on
each rock. To be passed out at gate. Renaissance girls would do
this and slip the rock to a boy they liked. He could exchange it
for a kiss. This would be nice to take home after the event.

14. Tug of War judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by
the Innn's Linda. On the signal each team starts to try and pull
the other team of four to six off balance and across the hazard or
gives up due to exhaustion.

15. Spang Hewing judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by
the (up for grabs at this time) Hurl wet fabric frog on the end of
a stick at a target.

16. Caber Toss judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by
the Inn's Lord Pooky. The entrant hoists the caber and folds his
hands under then end while cradling it against his shoulder.
Gaining the balance of the upright caber. They will run briefly with
it to gain momentum for the toss. Followed by field judges, the
competitor heaves the caber up and over to ground its heavy end and
let it fall forward. The field judge will ascribe a "score" to the
toss. If the caber is "turned" it will be scored with its final
position relative to face of a gaint clock, 12:00 being a perfect
score. If the caber is grounded but doesn't turn,it is scored by
the degree it rose from the ground.

17. The Clachneart or "Stone" judged by the entrants age groups
and overseen by the Inn's (up for grabs at this time). Using a
stone approximately 16 lbs to 28 lbs, with women using 11 lbs. The
stone must be put from the front of the shoulder using one hand
only. The contestants are judged on the longest of the three
tosses. Contestans must throw the stone as far as possible keeping
one foot stationary against the trig, the world record 62' 11"

18. The Hammer throw weighing 16 lbs to 23 lbs is thrown for
distance, judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by the
Inn's Stacy. The athlete throws the hammer with his back to the
trig and the throwing area. The competitor's feet may not move
until after he releases the hammer. He whirls the hammer around his
head as fast as possible releasing it at it's maximun speed. Each
athlete gets three throws with the hammer and is jubded by his best
distance. Touching the top of the trig or the ground in front of it
renders the throw foul.

19. Wench Race judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by
the Inn's Dottie. Using a picture the wenches fill from a bucket
they run to fill the gentlemens cup without spilling liquid, and
returns back to the start line.

20. I will be starting a list for gate sign up overseen by the
Inn's Vanessa. It will be set up in 1/2 hour increments with a
token of appreciation given after a certain amount of time
voluntered.

21. I will be starting a list for port-a-pottie checkes once an
hour to make sure there is plenty of papper, etc.

22. I have Parking Hangers that will be given to everyone who signs
up at gate for their rear view mirrors to try and keep tabs on
anyone gate crashing.

23. After I get the time slots I will work on a layout that I will
send to everyone latter.
