Just to let you know my aortic valve and root are from a donor human cadivor, my surgery was done January 1990, there were only 4 hospitals in the US that could do that type of operation and the VA in Oklahoma City was one of them. Even now when I go for my checkups they tell me that if they did not kow better they would think it was my own. Its been 16 years and many advances have been made right here in OKC. I know you will still worry but I hope this helps to know that there are success stories here in the area.

As some of you know my wife's oldest child (he turns 15 July 18)
has had serious health problems. Thursday they are going to crack his
chest and do open heart surgery on him, they are removing a valve
throwing it away taking out another valve and placing it where the one
removed was and then putting in an artificial valve. So please send us
all the positive energy and prayers you can, we are worried sick. This
is all happening at Oklahoma City Children's hospital. Lady Isobel and
Master Michael have asked us to stay with them.
