Wolfgang, a very tired Wolfgang, here and I am very pleased to report a most productive 3 days of work on the poles and rigging for the new GP Pavillions.

The outer poles are done except for the canvas pins, and about half of the rigging (ropes and tensioners) is finished as well.

And the ridge pole set for the first of the 2 (the Red Pavillion) is built and awaits finishing.

Now, I will be out of town this Thursday through Sunday, and HL Anya has offered to coordinate next weekend's work rally, hopefully the push to the finish. Before I leave, I will try and get the uprights built for the second Pavillion (the Blue Pavillion) ridge pole set.. We need the long floor of Richard's shop to set up the crossbeam and that's on the list for this coming weekend.

And Wolfgang fumes viciously about this fast growth slop the yards pass off as Premium and Appearance grade lumber.

This coming weekend we need to sand and paint poles and finish the rigging. Then the "smoke vents" on the canvas need to be patched shut to keep us high and dry during rain (I have nearly forgotten what that is!). We also need metal stakes, but I believe there are a couple good leads on those.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Even if you can only spare and hour Saturday or Sunday, please contact HL Anya (872-8775) for further information.

Before I sign off, I do want to thank those who came out and helped this weekend, including Richard, HL Anya, Lord Thomas, HL Annabelle and HL Aonghas.

In Service
Herr Wolfgang

"Air Namron Flight 267, nonstop Dragonship Service to Elfsea and continuing to Bordermarch is now ready for boarding at the Blue Pavillion. All aboard please!"
