My Rambling on the subject.

Captain is bestowed to the leader of a ship that they command 
weather they own it or the head of the house hold owns the ship.
I am the Captain of the Corsair Della Rouge I. It was bestowed 
upon me by the owner of the house hold. I too went before his 
Majesty's Michel requesting a letter of Marque many years ago at 
coronation in Muskogee and never herd any thing else. The king 
said he would take it under consecration. I conceder we are legal 
a ship of the Ansteorran navy without a Letter of Marque when 
Michel is King, else we are a Privateers of Ansteorra without a 
Letter of Mark. We put forth a request and had a cannon. 
Ma by some day we will get the Letter of Marque. Oh yes I just 
rembered we are in the SCA where it took 13 years for me to 
get my AOA. LOL  IT its A GAME!!!!! CHILL we all like pretty 
stuff given to when we do nice stuff. Heck we per paid our taxes 
with a chest of Gold bars too. HAY Michel where is MY MARQUE.
