Samarrah, and anyone else interested,

I have already offered to teach beginning classes in inkle weaving
and/or tablet weaving, blackwork, spinning, (and anything else they can
coerce me into---I mean convince me I'm qualified for) for both Namron
and Skorragardr after the first of the year. I would be more than happy
to also teach for Kuhneigen.

If there is anyone particularly interested in any of these subjects,
please let Fayiddah, Adena, Samarrah, or myself know so that we can try
to get times scheduled and equipment ready.

Annabelle

Subject: [Namron] Kuhneigen Group's most recent meeting

Greetings to all this fine November Morn!

The Kuhneigen group held a very productive meeting this last monday and
I want to thank all the representatives from Namron and Skorragordr, and
Her Excellency Muriel for attending and sharing thier experience and
input with us. All the peoples of Namron are most welcome to take part
in the meetings and input and guidance from those who have seen much,
learned much, and played much are most appreciated!

An important change to our schedule was decided upon that night. We are
going to hold only one Kuhneigen Pop meeting per month and have changed
it to the 2nd Thursday each month at 6:30 in the Maysville Public
Library. There have been a few changes to Fighter Practice by our
Knights Marshall that he will be addressing himself in a future post.
No changes will go into effect until December. We will NOT host any
activities on Thanksgiving.

A high point of our meeting was the discussion of topics that members of
Kuhneigen would like to learn. These are a wide range of interests and
our group would like to invite those with these talents to share their
knowledge and skills with us, either by informing us of upcoming
opportunities to attend a class, or by accepting our invitation to teach
us here...and thereby possibly also being seen by mundanes who might be
interested in learning just what it actualy is that we funny dressed
people do...lol

And so, here are the topics that were requested at Monday's meeting:

Leatherworking
Middle Eastern Dance
Armor Making
Archery
Caligraphy/Charter Painting/Scroll Painting
Bowmaking
and anything else we might not have thought of yet.

I have access and blessing from the local "powers that be" to utilize
the Maysville Walking Trail and the Maysville Public Library as possible
facilities for our activities. Lucrezia the Beloved has already offered
to teach classes in particular garb in the near future and I will post
any upcoming classes to the lists. Many of you have visited the library
and are familiar with it's amenities. The Walking trail is very close
to the library, is a lovely setting with a large covered pavillion,
lot's of shade and is well lit for evenings. It is also in a location
that is GREAT for being seen by and possibly recruitment of modern folk.

We will also, after the holidays, schedule a co-ed sewing night at the
library...so keep your eyes posted to the list for that.

If you would like to offer a class in your field of interest, please
contact myself, current acting Seneschal for the Kuhniegen group, and I
will do all I can to facilitate your needs.

We most humbly thank you for your time and look forward to sharing and
learning with you!

In service,

Samarrah

Lady Samarah Basimah Latifa al Dhakira bint Anaan bint Mellilah

God be with you in every pass. Jesus be with you on every hill. Spirit
be with you in every stream, headland, ridge and law, each sea and land,
each moor and meadow, lying down and rising up,in the trough of the
waves or on the crest of the billow. Each step of the journey you go, go
with God.
