I am sorry if people dont believe  me. You can call the hospital.or go by and visit. She is not in a coma and is making progress every day..Her speech is returning slowly.She can sit up in a chair for an hour.Her parents are still here in Oklahoma and are at her bedside most of the time.I visit almost every day..

Her huhsband Scott was waiting for the Hospital to call him..He has NOT been at the hospital since she was moved to a room...he is supposed to go to the hospital today..Any comment about this and other emails i have posted is welcome..But dont detract from people who have been there!

As an outsider looking in again I must make a few comments. First of all many of you know that my daughter suffers from brain damage, is on a ventilator and a feeding tube so my opinon on topics such as this can be bias. Sorry. 
 
I want to say that I totally agree with what has been said. Don't EVER believe anything you hear about someone unless you see it for yourself or hear it from Scott, since he is her husband he knows the truth on what is going on. Even other family members can add things on to a story or tell it like "they" see it.  With my daughter we had people telling us that she was reported as brain dead (she is NOT) and we had to do damage control because of it. You have no idea how hurtful rumors can be in a time like this. Scott needs everyones support, and not to worry about the rumors floating around. I know that you are just passing on information you think to be true but that is exactly rumors get started, by what one thinks is the truth. 
 
As for the progress she is making. I am thrilled. I dont know Susan. But I pray for her to recover. I check this list every day thinking about her. I am not sure why, since I dont know her. She just draws me in to learn more of her story and to pray for her. 
 
 Let me  also just say that doctors are not always right, my daughter is living proof of that. 
 
Also know that there is a diffrence in brain death and brain damage. Most people don't get that. Brain damage is where things are damaged and don't work right. Brain death normally indicates no brain activity on an EEG test and no response to pain, people, touch, smell, etc. A lot of brain dead people can not breath on their own, a few brain DAMAGED people (like my daughter) can't breathe on their own so don't let respitory effort be a guide to this. The doctors I am sure will do tons more test on Susan and let Scott know exactly what is going on. I hope he shares with some of us who are wondering what the whole story is. 
 
Anyway just my two cents, that is all its worth two cents. Night all.
