Just a reminder that the Route 66 Fiber Rendezvous will again be held in 
Arcadia at Fort Braxton (center of town south side). May 12, 2007 - 
Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Arcadia is 5 miles east of Edmond from I-35 
on 2nd Street.)

Bring yourselves, some food, your spinning wheels and a desire to share some 
good times with your friends new and old.

1. Vendors will be $15.00. The venue has lots of trees and some covered 
pavilions. Please bring your own tables and chairs. If you are interested in 
vending, please send your information to Janice Robinson 
(www.JRAlpacas at aol.com). We will start setting up around 8:00 to 8:30 and 
will be leaving around 5:30.This is a great opportunity to share what you do 
with others.

2. This year we will do a pot luck lunch.  Log Cabin Spinners will provide 
paper products and water. Please bring a dish to share with others.

3. Activities: We are considering "late rock day" type event (since January 
was ice month and we didn't get to do this). We need input for games and fun 
things for us to do.  Like spinning with socks on your hands. We will again 
have the weaving pavilion for children. We are considering a 10:00 and 1:00 
session. We are open to all ideas. We hope to have various "demos" around 
the area. One thought might be a "fleece to product" area where raw fleece 
from various animals could be taken to product.

4. JR Alpacas will again bring alpacas.
