[Namron] Good News....

Ok...So you've all heard the bad news....now here's some good news totally unrelated to our previous bad news....

Perhaps you may have heard the rattling of swords and the beating of sheilds echoing off the western borders of Namron.  Something big is happening in the Kuhneigen region that will rally the fighters bards, artists, and brewers throught the lands.

June 29th through July 1st, come join the call to arms for the Day of Independence in Kuhneigen.

We are planning and organizing many things to entice and entertain good peoples of Namron and lands near and far.  

There are grand plans that will include Chivalric and light fighters, siege weopons, combat archery and much more.  We'll also have a Bardic Competition, Arts & Sciences, Brewing Competition, Perhaps even a Hafla and maybe even  Equestrian Events!

All are welcome to bring their fireworks for an explosive end to an amazing day!

We're looking for folks interested in helping with this project.  We would love for someone to run Tavern during the day....we'll have a potluck/BBQ in the evening before lighting the bardic bonfire.

We want to invite (read beg and plead and kiss the feet of...) the Puppet Guild to come share their talents with the children in attendance.  We want to invite bards, brewers, artists, jesters, juglers, and anyone with a pulse.... (HEE HEE).  Also, Pookie or New MOC we  need YOU for our ARMY OF MUNCHKINS!

So much is going on....so much we cannont divulge yet...(yes, this includes the excitement of espionage!  Who knew we could have this much fun!).

This isn't an official event (YET) and there isn't a site fee.  Camping is welcome and we're talking about building showers and getting porta privy's.  While no fee will be required, we will be accepting donations to help allevieate any costs of this gathering as well as to start building the coffers of Kuhneigen.

Think it might be fun?  Think you have what it takes?  Then "Aunt SAM" needs you (no, i'm NOT wearing a top hat and red and white striped truews....no no no).  Write me back, call me, let me know what you want to do....trust me...when all is revealed you're gonna hate yourself if you miss this gathering!
