It is also bad luck to run over turtles.  I know this is superstition, but one I firmly believe.  You may reply to me privately if you wish to know why I believe.

For those going to Beltane, if you take Route 64 east of Perry beware of LARGE 
turtles migrating across the highway.

Running over a large turtle can take out a car tire, and it's not too good for 
the turtle either.
