A friend of mine has a brother who makes custom guitars, and needs to find someone who can make axe blades (non-functional, of course) to be mounted on them. See below for more information, including a link to view a finished guitar. If anyone knows of a source for this sort of thing, or is interested in making some, email me privately at npeay at hotmail.com with your contact information, and I'll pass it on to them.

"As most of you know, my brother finally finished the custom guitar he
was working on (the one that was supposed to include chrome skulls and
axes and I sent a message to everyone I could think of asking for
suggestions on where he might be able to find stuff like that,
remember?). Anyway, it's done and it looks incredibly cool (and here's

a link to pictures of it if you haven't seen it yet):

The problem now is that he found out he can't use any more of the axe
blades he was intending to use--the axes they're a part of are
considered art pieces and come with signed certificates, and he can't
use more than a few of them without running into copyright problems.
He's pretty sure he can find someone else around here to make blades
 for
him, but he asked me to check with some of the folks I know to see if
they can recommend anyone. The blades he needs don't have to look
exactly like the ones he already used--I think he wants to come up with

a different design--but they do need to be etched and chromed.

If you know of any machinists, metal workers, weapon makers, etc.,
 local
or otherwise, who might be able to do the work for him or at least help

him out with information, please let me know and I'll pass the
information along to him. "
