I will try and be there. Count two in my party Kat. Maybe more, Ill let you know. The closest theatre to Abuelo's in Bricktown is the Bricktown Harkins Theatre. Im in the middle of working on a Tudor, so not sure if Ill be in Mundanes or some garb. (Think still in the planning stage....stinking portraits...lol).
Also Ill let Julie Lovelady AKA: Shalice McGowan know of her shift for protectorate. I work with her here at the hospital.
Can't make it to protectorate. I have to work, perhaps Ill wander down in time for the hafla. If not, see you all at Elizabeth.

Please bring mine and Lisa's garb/cloth/surger to protectorate since you wouldnt give it to any of the people coming to my house. I would like to be dressed for an event finally (after all you have held them for what... 4 months now).

Ok guys. I agree with Sami and Siobhan. I think a 7 p.m. ish show in garb at the theatre downtown and if people are starving they can eat a snack of popcorn or whatever and then go to Abuelos for dinner after. It will be easier to get seats together at 9 ish than at 7 ish at the restaurant as well. I can contact the theatre and see if they will let us hold some seats together. I will let you know what I find out. If people have other suggestions, comments, feel free to speak up. This just sounds like a good preliminary plan.

I was thinking.. Hoops and theaters might not be the best idea I think I might just go in mundnaes.
Which theater is closest to Abuellos? I'm still learning my way around the city.
So far there are at least 5 in my crew.. maybe more.. will nail them down next week.

When we originally thought of doing this for the opening we had planned on doing Elizabethan Garb for that night, however being that protectorate is the same weekend, that's a no go. So I think we should at LEAST do garb and possibly see if the management would save a section of the theatre seats for thos of us IN Garb so that we don't have to negotiate seating with the general public.
And I like Kat's idea of buying the tickets in Advance. (we did this for the 300 and it worked out well). Also, we may want to make reservations for dinner. We'd look the coolest at Abuellos as it's decorated like an old Spanish courtyard. (and the margaritas are to DIE for) LOL. Not to mention they have the good grace to employ a certain specail Namronian! Being a friday night an accurate headcount and a reservation will save a LOT of time and headaches.
Ideas? Opinions?
