     There is a company who makes period bow and arrows, they were at Steppes Warlord... I can't think of their name off hand, but I know that Nicolea's Lord has bought items from them before.

Thanks for the information.  If I can’t find someone in the SCA to make a bow or two, then I will contact them to see about their prices.  If at all possible though, I would like to have the bows made by a fellow SCAdian.  Anyone interested out there in Ansteorra?

I have never bought from them, but I understand that woodbows.com has decent bows at a reasonable price.
