[Namron] Sewing machine SCAM alert

A note of caution for the sewing enthusiasts among us:

Hancock Fabrics sent out a flier with details about a special sale
event coming soon for one day only.

The flier mentions a serger that can sew denim, canvas, leather, etc.,
and all for the price of $99. It also mentions other models will be
available.

This sounded too good to be true, so I Googled it. There were a lot of
comments in different places, all negative. These are anecdotal, but
worth considering. Here's a brief summary:

The machines are not sold by Hancock Fabrics, but by another company
who sends a traveling salesman into the shop for that one day. If you
need to return it, too bad, they're gone.
(Actually, if you look at the flier closely, you can confirm this easily.)

They pull a bait and switch. When you get there, you discover the $99
machine does not handle denim, canvas leather, etc., for that you have
to buy one of the more expensive "other models" mentioned in the
flier. Also, the sales person demonstrates only the expensive model
and will not answer questions about the $99 model, which as it turns
out is a low end machine.

The flier doesn't mention the specific models being sold, but one
commenter said the prices were quite a bit higher than the highest
prices she could find for the models from any dealer.

Hope that was helpful,
-Jacques
