For a spanish lady a Ropa is something other than corsets and hoop skits she
can wear. There are lots of good refrences for dress. Mai or Gwyneth would
probably be able to give you a list of titles. My lord favors *The Tailor's
Apprentice *which seems to go in and out of print quite quickly. Sometimes
Amazon has uesd copies.
