Hi all,
I know this is off topic, but The Salvation Army is in DESPERATE need
of people to "adopt" angels off of our Angel Tree at Penn Square Mall.
We need to adopt out 375 Angels!!! It's getting desperate!
So, Angel Tree is where children from poor families (and seniors in
nursing centers) are placed on an "Angel" on the Christmas Tree. The
Angel tags include the child's name, Christmas wishes and clothing
sizes.
You choose an angel, go buy whatever your heart tells you to buy for
the child, and then return the gifts to The Salvation Army booth at
Penn Square Mall... you don't have to shop at the Mall (I always go to
Ross and Big Lots), but the $20 or $25 you spend will ensure that even
the poorest child in OKC has a merry Christmas.
We need to adopt these angels by Sunday at the latest!!!
