Populace Meeting - 2/4/09
Norman Public Library

Starts at 7:43pm.

Baron & Baroness – Hi, war time is coming, silk banner painting was
done recently, lots of people helped, show of hands, showed an
example, doing it again on Sewing/A&S night;

Gulf Wars registration ends 2/18/09, put Namron as group you're
camping with, Orlando is organizing food (lunch/dinner only);

Skargardr has agreed to host event on Halloween weekend with Le Chemin
Noir, more information to come, also the investiture of Northkeep's
B&B, so it won't be Axeman and won't be Le Chemin Noir's regular
event, event at Will Rogers;

Don Christoforo passed away earlier this week, funeral and donation
information on the mailing list.

Seneschal – Jacqueline isn't here, Bubba speaking in her voice;

Autocrats needed for Beltane, bids close 2/17/09 populace;
Autocrats and Feastocrats needed for Protectorate, bids close 5/19/09 populace;
open officer positions – MoC, Knight's Marshal – give application to
B&B, seneschal, current officer and regional officer, treasurer and
hospitaler positions will be opening up after Beltane;
still searching for populace meeting sites, please get suggestions to seneschal.

Non-seneschal business (still Bubba speaking for Jacqueline) – Monday,
2/9/09, A&S night at Barat and Jacqueline's starting at 7:30pm, Med
Faire Planning Meeting starting at 8pm, also at Barat and
Jacqueline's.

Herald – nothing to report

Chronicler – things are going well, get submissions for Plume to Ithrael

Hospitaler – nothing to report, if you're new come and talk to me

TW/Archery – archery practice every Sunday at Sebastian's, we have
loaner equipment, this Sunday will be at Camp Dakani 1pm-dark,
regional practice with Wiesenfeuer et al; TW practice this last
Sunday, pictures in Plume, one stand done, other one done by 3rd
Sunday, a dozen people practiced

Treasurer – no changes since last report, about $9,500 in the account,
applications after Beltane, but I'd like a deputy now to help with the
event and quarterly report, see me

KM – not here, office open

Rapier – fun with TW last Sunday, war practice went well, NR practice
went well, thanks to Lady Marguerite who made loaner taberns and coits
(?) and capes, also got some new gourgets, rapier office now has lots
of loaner gear, come out and join us on Tuesdays

A&S – hello, banner painting went well, good turnout, see B&B's
example, not as intimidating as I thought it would be, doing more on
Monday; if you have a particular interest, please let me know so we
can get a class set up; Nicolea is going to do a painting class next
Tuesday.

Med Faire – need volunteers, staff Living History Lane, need tents,
sign up sheets, people to come out and "do what you do" for a few
hours, contact Hospitaler to volunteer, Planning meeting on Monday
starting at 8pm at Barat and Krista's house

Annais – Gulf War gift basket for Northshield, portable games, if you
have ideas see me or Annabelle, discuss different items already in the
basket; Beltane will also be Titled Artisian, if you have entries let
us know, "bring your best work" with documentation; Fiber Arts night
every Wednesday (except Pop meetings) starting at 7pm at Hastings;
Shakespeare readings continue, may change, but currently 4th Sunday
night

Bubba – Mardi Gras, 2/21/09, talked about participation, Cat will get
a body count to Jacqueline by 2/7/09 for Mardi Gras committee.

Christian – autocrat of past Protectorate, now Wiesenfeuer's autocrat
for event on April 10th-12th, different activities, Camp Dakani

Terric – my brother won't be here for Med Faire
