Town:  Hodgen, OK
Cedar Lake

Group camps, equestrian camps, boat ramps/docks, playground, volleyball, pavilions, picnic areas, hiking/biking trails, swimming beach.  
From E end of US 270 at Heavener, S on US 59, 8 mi to Holsom Valley Rd, E 3 mi.   
Equestrian trail: advanced and expert.  Trails connect with Talimena State Park, Billy Creek Trailhead and Peter Conser Historical Homestead.  Mounting block accessible to physically disabled is available.   GPS developed map available.  
Trail distance:  100 miles.  
Ride type: loops and connecting trails.  
Trail type:  very rocky with some steep inclines and abundant wildlife, including bears.  
Trail markings:  yellow rectangles and yellow markers with trail numbers.

5 mi N of Wilburton on Hwy 2  
Equstrain trail: easy, advanced and expert.  Winds past many historical landmarks.  Riders will also encounter a variety of wildlife.  Trails east of Hwy 2 are closed Oct 15 - Jan 31 for hunting season.  GPS developed map available.  Campground has mounting block accessible to physically disabled available.  
Trail distance: 60+ miles of horse and multiuse trails.  
Ride type: loops and connecting trails.  
Trail type:  very rocky with some steep inclines.  Horeshoes are a necessity.

Arrowhead State Park

 Boat ramp/docks, marina, dump station, group facilities, picnic areas, minature golf, swim beach, hiking trails, nature trails, airstrip, equestrian campground and trails.  From Canadian 4 mi E off US-69 on state Park Rd.  
Equestrian trial:  easy.  Rolling-hill terian lined by oak-hickory forests.  Horse water is available in the lake.  
Trail distance: 25 miles.  
Ride type: loops and connecting.  
Trail type:  some steep inclines and may have an occasional bog when wet.

Town:  Seminole, OK
Sportsmans' Lake
Boat ramps/dock, fishing docks, picnic areas, grills, pavilions, playground, group shelter, hiking & equestrian trails, 30 & 50 amp service.  Riding permit required. 354 surface acres. 15 mi shoreline.  From I-40 exit 200, 9 mi S on Hwy 99, 4 mi E on Hwy 9, 2 mi S on NS 360, 1.5 mi E on Hwy 124.  
Equestrian trial: advanced.  For an experienced rider, an excellent place to come for the weekend.  Ride permit required, maps are avilable at the trailhead.  Water is readily available on the trail and from the lake.  Campground has mounting block accesible to physically disabled.  Trail distance:  20+ miles.  
Ride type:  Loops, connecting and out-and-back trials.  
Trail type:  Rough country with rocky and steep inclines, numerous water crossings and one area of quicksand.  Horseshoes are necessary.

Bell Cow Lake
Swimming beach, volleyball, basketball, equestrian campground and trails.  1 mi N of Chandler, 1.5 mi W, 3/4 mi N.  
Equestrian trail:  easy.  A good trail for young horses.  Horse water is readily avilable.  
Trail distance:  Two marked trails, total of 37 miles.  
Ride type:  Out-and-back.  
Trail Type:  Dirt, sand and grass.  Horseshoes are optional.

Four parks:  Edmond Park, Central State Park, Scissortail Campground & Spring Creek Park.  Handicap accessible fishing dock, boat ramp, dump station, picnic areas, outdoor grills, swimming beach, equestrian trails, hiking trails, bicycle trails, camping, water skiing, showers, wetlands wildlife management area, reservable group area, disc golf, enclosed heated fishing dock, pavilions, 1820 surface acres. 26 mi shoreline.  Access fees apply.  I-35 to 2nd Street (US66)., E 2 1/2 mi. for Edmond & Central State Parks.  I-35 N to 15th Street for Sissortail & Spring Creek Parks.  Horse trailer parking available at 33rd St. & Air Depot Rd.  Parking lot located at the middle of the trail.
Equestrain trail:  Easy.  Good for new horse or rider.  Includes lake access for watering horses.  Ride permit required.
Trail distance:  10 miles
Ride type:  Beautiful, secluded and scen8ic route with many surrounding trees and wildlife.
Trail type:  Flat, sandy, well-marked trails with a shallow water crossing and several bridges shaded by surrounding hardwood groves.

Equestrain trail:  easy.  Good for new horse and rider, traverses through meadows, and woods.  Water is available on the trail.
Trail distance: 7.5 miles
Ride type: Loops and connecting trails.
Trail type:  Open grassland to heavily wooded.  Trail is dirt and rock.  Horseshoes are recommended.
