[Namron] OT Ben Update

and I’ll bring stuff up.  I’m a night owl so I’ll probably be up sewing and
puttering around for a couple more hours.  The phone won’t disturb anyone
else.

It is 11:08 p.m. and Lucas and I are taking turns sleeping in two hour
shifts on a pull out chair and Ben has so far finally held down 4 oz. of
Pedialyte and has gone back to sleep.  I'd say hopefully for the evening,
but the pediatric nurses have assured us they will be in the room every two
hours to check on him and that sometime between 3 and 5 a.m. they will be
re-poking him with a needle to do more bloodwork, so  I will be doing a
massive caffiene search here in the next hour or so. Hopefully this is all
just some nasty virus and will be going away soon.  I keep reminding myself
of what our primary care physician says about sending our son to daycare.
She says that by the time Ben reaches school age he will have been exposed
to every plague under the sun and will be the world's best perfect
attendance student because he will be super immunity boy.  Thanks for your
thoughts and prayers.

My Lord Lucas and I are very disappointed that we were unable to attend the
Celtic Festival and share in the merrymaking.  However, we are currently
sitting in Children's Hospital with Ben trying to get him well enough to
hold down food, liquid, anything....  He is sleeping well now, but I have a
feeling it is going to be a long night!  We hope to be home tomorrow
sometime but I doubt Lucas will make it to fighter practice, so if someone
could fill us on on the plan, it would be much appreciated.  He is taking
off work on Friday to come and fight and I am bringing 78 sophomores to he
"school day" at the faire.
 
Oh, and I am just throwing this out there, but I am thinking about doing a
Baronial Heraldic Project.  I would like to create a scrapbook of all of the
registered devices of each of the members of the Barony of Namron.  This
could be used for both educational purposes and for barony history purposes.
Does something like this currently exist?

Hey just a quick note of thanks to all those that showed up today and really
represented the SCA well.  We had lots of heavy fighting, a little light
fighting, learned a few lessons, had a lots of showing off, got to dance
with a lot of lovely Ladies, and passed around a lot of friendship and
laughs.

This was a great warm up, cant wait til Med Faire!!
