Thanks for your thoughts.

Apparently, we spoke too soon. He is still not keeping food down. However, since he is nice and hydrated he does feel a little better. Unfortunately, since it is Sunday we haven't seen a Dr. since about 8AM this morning. Soooooo, it looks like we are setting up for another long night of taking turns on the half bed.

Lucas

Yes, Ulf and Mahleah (sp?) both have their devices on line....guess we should just find out from Ulf what format he wants our devices in and "get 'er done"

Glad to hear Ben is on the uptick!!!!!!!!

I am so glad to hear that Ben is feeling better! I hope he gets to go home soon!!

On the other discussion, actually Ulf has his Device listed on the website next to his information.

This is much better news about Ben. We all hope that he continues to keep food & liquid down, so that you can go home. It sounds like he is on the upside of this "bug". Yeah!

Take care,

I believe that at one point Ulf had mentioned trying to put our devices online on the webpage next to our awards...or am I just making that up?? I am sooo tired!!!

Ben update: He has been cleared to eat real food, so he will be staying on the hydration until we are sure he can hold down solid food. So far he has held down some formula (but he doesn't really want liquid as he is uber hydrated). He is sleeping right now and when he wakes up we are going to try rice cereal. If he holds that down, they will decrease his hydration to 50% and let him start getting his hydration orally. If all goes well this afternoon then they will take him completely off his hydration and observe us for awhile before sending us home. Best case scenario we will be home sometime early this evening. Lucas will have to take off work tomorrow and my mom will be coming down on Monday night to stay with him on Tuesday. He will not be cleared to return to daycare / public until he has stopped the cha cha chas, lol.

Thanks for all your care and concern.

- Adelheid

My husband and I are home all day...doing yardwork....it would be a great excuse to take a break and bring you coffee if you need it. Of course, I myself am not a fan of coffee...LOL....but I would make the sacrifice:)

As for the illness/virus...yes, they get exposed to a lot. Despite the fact that if they even get a runny nose, day care calls for you to take them home...by then it is too late, all the kids have been exposed. I remember those days, they REALLY do "grow out of it".

As for the heraldic scrapbook, we should seriously consider also putting these on line. I noticed that many of us do not have photos, contact info., and especially device information on our Populace page on the website.

My Lord Lucas and I are very disappointed that we were unable to attend the Celtic Festival and share in the merrymaking. However, we are currently sitting in Children's Hospital with Ben trying to get him well enough to hold down food, liquid, anything.... He is sleeping well now, but I have a feeling it is going to be a long night! We hope to be home tomorrow sometime but I doubt Lucas will make it to fighter practice, so if someone could fill us on on the plan, it would be much appreciated. He is taking off work on Friday to come and fight and I am bringing 78 sophomores to he "school day" at the faire.

Oh, and I am just throwing this out there, but I am thinking about doing a Baronial Heraldic Project. I would like to create a scrapbook of all of the registered devices of each of the members of the Barony of Namron. This could be used for both educational purposes and for barony history purposes. Does something like this currently exist?

Until later,
Lady Adelheid

Hey just a quick note of thanks to all those that showed up today and really represented the SCA well. We had lots of heavy fighting, a little light fighting, learned a few lessons, had a lots of showing off, got to dance with a lot of lovely Ladies, and passed around a lot of friendship and laughs.

This was a great warm up, cant wait til Med Faire!!

Lord Lorenzo Martin
