Saturday October 10, 2009 following court, The Barony of Namron will be
celebrating it's 30th Year Anniversary with hafla, drumming, and an
Ansteorran Sumo Tournament!

The Barony of Namron needs FIGHTERS.  Men and women who will step into the
ring to display the dominance of Ansteorra.  Ignoring sweat and pain to
prove that they are the mightiest ANSTEORRAN SUMO FIGHTER! The winner will
be awarded a special prize at the end of the evening.

The Barony of Namron needs gamblers.  Unnerving men and women that will put
their tokens on the line to wager who will be the best or worst fighter.  After
the tournament you will be able to use your tokens to bid on fantastic
prizes that have been donated.

Proceeds from the SUMO tournament and auction are to benefit Their Royal
Highnesses

The Barony of Namron needs drummers and dancers.  Providing an atmosphere
like no other.  The rhythmic beating of a drum complimented by Middle
Eastern dancers.  A special hafla that is sure to create the ambiance for
the entire evening.

The Barony of Namron needs people like you.  A special celebration to mark
the 30th year of our being.  A celebration to mark the creation of a strong
barony with strong tradition and relationships that have been created and
strengthened through three decades.

The Barony of Namron invites one and all to the Will Rogers Scout
Reservation in Cleveland, Oklahoma to celebrate Protectorate XXXIII and the
30th Anniversary as the Barony of Namron!  Site will open at 3:00pm on
Friday October 9th and will close at noon on Sunday October 11th.

Pray join us for a weekend of ceremony and feast as warriors equip their
swords and participate in one of the Northern Region’s grandest events as
crowns watch on in anticipation of its next Protector and its newest Rapier
Champion.  Ansteorrans will also give humbled reverence to Centurion Ulf
Arnfinsson as he is elevated into the Order of Chivalry.  A Youth Combat
class and authorization will take place and should there be enough
participants, a Youth competition will take place.

As the sun begins to set, a delicious feast will be prepared by Lord Orlando
di Gilead and Lady Antonia de la fuente. The feast will begin with Welsh
Rarebit Fondue, fresh baked breads, and vegetables.  Whole roast chickens
feathered with carrots on a nest of rice and lettuce will follow. Then a
whole swine stuffed with fruit and smoked with pecan will bring the entrée
to a close but do not leave your seat before enjoying a delectable pumpkin
cheesecake.  Hafla will follow and let the music carry you well into the
morning hours.  Feast reservations will be handled by Namrons Vincenti da

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also
attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and notarized minor event
waiver from the parents.  The site is wet but drinks should be in period
containers.

Site fee is Adults: $10.00, Children (6-17): $5.00, Children (Under 6):
Free, Family Max: $30.00, Feast $9.00

Merchants are welcome.  Pets are allowed but must be leashed and have rabies
vaccination verification.

Site Directions

>From I-35:

Take the Cimarron Turnpike/US 412 East towards Tulsa. Take 99 North. Take 64
East. Look for the Will Rogers Boy Scout Reservation sign. Entrance will be
on your left.

>From Tulsa/US 412 going West:

On 412 going West, at the Cleveland exit (last toll-free exit), take 64 west
toward Cleveland, Oklahoma. Continue to follow the 64 signs west. Look for
the Will Rogers entrance on your right about five miles outside of town.
