Subject: A Garb Quetion!

Hi, Maleah --

One of the people at the church is in need of  a costume for a school play and thought we might be able to find something within the SCA group.  Here is her request:

We are trying to put together a costume for Peyton's school play, and I thought that you might be a good resource.  He is portraying some sort of Shakespearean/Elizabethan character, and his role requires "balloon pants" or "parachute pants".  I'm thinking more of the knee-length, knicker-looking pants, and I knew that you have been very involved in SCA activities...and I know that I have seen those types of pants on some of those characters.  Where do you get them?  Do you know anyone who would have a pair of pants that we could borrow for a week?

I replied that we 'get' them by making them!  She says the size would be XL boys, probably S or M adult.  Who might I be able to check with to see what might be available?  She didn't say WHEN this would be needed!
