Greetings
all!

Tiggy
here.

This is
just a reminder that the Bunch of Us are getting together to read
this Sunday 4 October 2009. We are going to start gathering around
3:00 in the afternoon.

With
Fall coming on, life settles in a little bit more into its regular
routine. Thoughts of home and hearth surround us, especially with
the holidays soon around the corner. So, in fitting with this theme
we are going to be sharing a familiar tale about a mother's loss, a
father's love, and a return to the simple things that we learn
sitting down to a family meal. It is the story of two families &
the cohesion that binds them together through the ravages &
aftermath of war. It will warm your heart, and will beg the
question, "Just who are we having for dinner?" One of
Shakespeare's early works, set in the days of Ancient Rome: TITUS ANDRONICUS.

With it
being Halloween this month, we thought it might be fun to carry that
over to our choices in food. So, we are looking for food in the
shape of body parts - the bloodier the better.

As
always, this is all very casual, laid back, & relaxed. No garb
(or costumes) required. If you have not had a chance to make it to
one of our readings, you really are missing out on a great time. It
is a chance to get to know The Bard (again). So, come on down,
remember to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bard) if you can. Even better,
bring an extra if you have one to spare - I usually have a few
extra, but it is always nice to have more available.

Most of all, come to have
a good time!

We are
meeting as usual at Tadhg & Meruaud's at 1840 Burnt Oak in
Norman.

If you
would be interested, we do have a yahoo group set up called The Bunch
of Us Readers [the link is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bunchofusreaders]. There is a small & relatively low-traffic email list
there, if you would like to join up. It serves as a calendar &
way for us to keep in contact - so, even if you can't make it this
month, you can still communicate & contribute.

Hope to see you there!

Go well,
be well, and stay well

Tiggy
