I know this is an off topic post, but who better to ask than the fine
people in the SCA? :)

I have a friend who has a small business and just needs a boost in the
right direction to set up a small web site. They aren't intending
anything major, so fancy scripted sites are probably not needed. They
want to be able to maintain it themselves eventually, keep a domain name
they have, etc. and just generally start with the web presence thing.

They are willing to exchange small bits of green paper for hours of
someone's time, so that is good. I was going to help them out myself,
but I don't have the time to do a decent job. So, I'm acting as
something of an interview service for them, to make certain they aren't
sold (more of) what they don't need.

So, what I'm hoping for is someone who has done this sort of thing recently.

I don't suspect this is a long term thing, but I suspect they would be
willing to pay a small retainer just in case they needed changes and
were unable to do so themselves.

If you are interested, please send me mail directly, and include a phone
number and when a good time to call would be. I don't need a full CV,
but a quick summary of what you have done might be nice.
