[Namron] Medieval Faire Prep...Jan 6 (Wed)...looked good

Greetings,

I would like to thank all the folks that came out to check the canvas. We were able to evaluate and mark the issues with five tents from the shed.

While one tent has died from dry rot, the other four are quite serviceable and should be ready by the end of January.

So, next week is the first canvas repair party at the Norman High School Cafeteria (the Commons) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Again, special thanks to Aonghais, Annabelle, Merlyn, Afsenah, David, Michael, Owen Stott, Meraud, and Wolfgang, who helped load, unload, fold, unfold, and inspect the tents. I couldn't have done it without you.

And special thank yous to Meraud for getting access to the high school and to Wolfgang for bringing out the plans from last year's Medieval Faire property.

Regards,

Tadhg

Greetings,

Norman High School has granted us permission to use the Commons this Wednesday evening, Jan 6.

The plan at this time is to pull out the baronial tents (and their various hardware) and assess their current condition. As such, we need folks to push and pull large amounts of canvas and eyes to identify any problems with the same.

If you are able, please join us at 6:30 p.m. (or thereafter) at the Norman High School Commons. The school is on Main Street, east of Boyd Ave. Park on the east side of the high school and go in the door closest to Main St.

A couple of stout hands and the seneschale's key would be greatly appreciated at the Shed around 6:00 p.m.

Regards,
Tadhg
