Good Sir,
you might try using a bias binding to cover ther raw edge so it won't fray.  If you have any questions on how to do this I am more than happy to help.
YIS,
Lady Liadan of Patrin-Or

Subject: [Namron] Sewing question

I have a quick question about sewing.  I have made a rapier fighters coif.. looks pretty good.. almost done.  But the face hole is giving me fits.  There are four layers of fabric (drop tested good) and the hole is a little small.. a little too small but not too bad, I can live with it.

The problem is that i need to fold back the material to hem it so it doesnt fray but its very difficult to get it to fold back to pen and hem.  Any suggestions?

Señor Lorenzo
